Open a BanKo Account and Get Bigas Promo Mechanics

I. Promo duration
The promo will be held from August 15, 2024 to October 31, 2024, in all branches of BanKo.


II. Who can join?
This promo is open to all individuals who will open a savings account in BanKo and who will meet the following requirements:
– All participants must be between fifteen (15) years old and above.
– Existing BanKo account holders who earned successful referrals opened new accounts in BanKo from August 15-September 15, 2024


III. Who is disqualified to join?
Employees of BPI Direct BanKo, inc. A savings bank or BanKo, BanKo participating outlets including their relatives up to a second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.


IV. Mechanics of the promo

For existing members:

1. The existing account owner of BanKo, can participate by filling out the referral forms available in BanKo branches. You will be tagged as the “referror”.

a.) The referral code can be found in your BanKo mobile app or BanKo web app:

1. Log in to your account (pondo ko savings/todo savings).
2. Click the three lines at the upper left corner of your app to see the drop-down menu.
3. Click “My rewards” to reveal your referral code.
4. Use your referral code when you submit your referral stub.
5. For todo accounts please log in to your BanKo web app to get your referral code.

2. Please indicate the following information in the “referral form”

a) Name of referror
b) Referral code
c) Pondo ko savings account number
d) Name of referral
e) Check the box of intended action (deposit account opening or loan application)
f) Address of the referral
g) Contact number

3. After filling out the form, you may now submit it to the BanKo representative of the branch.

4. An eligible referral will be invited by BanKo to participate in the members-get-member promo.

5. A successful referral pertains to new clients who will open their first deposit account or avail of their first loan.

6. Participating products are as follows:

– PondoKo savings account
– Todo savings
– NegosyoKo loan

7. Applications to these accounts must made either through the BanKo mobile app in any branch/branch lite unit of BanKo or through BanKo On-The-Go (BOTG).

a) The referrer or referral must inform or present the referral form to the branch or BOTG so that the account being referred can be tagged to the “referror”.

8) A BanKo representative from the branch where you submitted the referral form will contact you so you can redeem your pack of rice.

For new clients

  1. New clients: no existing account in BanKo before the promo period.
  2. For new clients:

    a) Visit a BanKo branch nearest you.
    b) Download the app and then register
    c) Choose the product that you will avail for this promo. Participating products are as follows:
    – Pondo ko savings account
    – Todo savings
    – Negosyo ko loan

    d) Applications to these accounts can be made either through the BanKo mobile app, any branch/branchlite unit of BanKo, or through BanKo On-The-Go (BOTG).
    e) After creating the account, show this to a BanKo representative to redeem your pack of rice.

9. Rewards are as follows:

a) Each new account will get ½ kilo of rice
b) The person who submitted two referrals will get 1 kilo of rice. Redemption of free rice packs is subject to verification of accounts opened.

10. The reward can be claimed up to 60 days from the time the account was opened or the loan was released.

11.  BanKo has the right to verify the eligibility of the referror, the referral, and the accounts being referred.

12.  BanKo reserves the right to dispute the eligibility of participation in the promo should there be fraud, abuse, or any unauthorized action relating to earning rewards. In case of dispute, the decision of BanKo will be final.

13.  The terms and conditions of the deposit and loan products will apply.

14.  Employees of BPI Direct BanKo Inc. Are disqualified from joining this program.

15. The deadline for redemption of rice packs is within 60 days.


V. Proof of new account
a) Opening of all accounts must be done with the presence of a BanKo representative.
b) The account owner should present at least one valid ID to validate and verify the account.
c) Representatives of BPI BanKo will validate the account.


VI. Prizes
a) Each new account will get a 1/2 kg pack of rice.
b) A referror will get a kilo of rice for every two successful referrals.


VII. Redemption of prizes
a) Once the account is created you can redeem your pack of rice.
b) Present the account and the ID to the branch manager or branch representative to verify the account. Once confirmed and verified you may receive your rice pack.
c) The authorized representative must present a letter of authorization and a photocopy of the identification of the account owner to receive the pack of rice on behalf of the new account owner. 


VIII. Control measures
Present the account and a valid identification to the branch representative to verify the account. Once confirmed and verified you may receive your rice pack.
