BanKO to launch PayBills facility for DORELCO subscribers
February 2013
BPI BanKO recently inked an agreement with the Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative (DORELCO) in Leyte, providing its subscribers with a convenient option for paying their bills.
Through BanKO’s PayBills service, DORELCO subscribers may pay their electric bills using only their mobile phones beginning March 2013. To avail of this service, DORELCO customers only need to open a BanKO account and cash in at the BanKO partner outlets in their communities.
The areas covered by DORELCO are located along coastal towns and agricultural land. With the introduction of the PayBills facility to DORELCO subscribers, they are presented with a fast and easy way to pay their electric bills anytime and anywhere, eliminating the need to go to payment centers. Payments will be credited real-time to DORELCO’s account. (February 2013)
